Room 21 Korowai
As part of our Matariki Maori New Year celebration each class was asked to create a korowai ( a cloak). Our cloak is based on the 3 values for our school - Manaakitanga (yellow layer), Manawanuitanga (blue layer) and kaitiakitanga (green layer). The children chose to either draw koru designs on their feathers or write messages about the values. I think they have done an amazing job with it. Tino ataahua tamariki ma!! (Very beautiful children!!)

Room 21 you can be very proud of your korowai (cloak). I like how you have incorporated our three values into the design. Ka pai!
