Happy Matariki everyone!
Room 21 have been learning all about Matariki and why Matariki is important in Te Ao Māori (the Māori world). There are many stories which you can read about on our Room 21 Site. The following video also tells the story of Matariki.
How will you celebrate Matariki this year? On Thursday morning at 6am some of us will be meeting at the summit of Ōwairaka to view the Matariki Cluster. Come along and join us. Don't forget that Friday is a public holiday and we are back at school on Monday.
