Maunga Munch Photos

What a fantastic day we had!! In the first block we made banana and nutella sandwiches and pizzas for our shared lunch with the help of Damien's mum and Whaea Puhi. Being the well oiled machine we are the class managed to have everything finished before 10.15am so we could fit a swim in before morning tea.
After morning tea break we lined up ready for our walk up to Mt Albert. Once there Mr Faulder led all the children and adults up to the summit, while some adults stayed behind to set up lunch. Here are some photos taken during the trip:

 On the 6 November Puriri and Kauri Teams held their Athletics Day at the Lovelock Track. Congratulations to Kylah, Ariella, Levi, Samantha, Alan & Gina for your achievements!!









The Mt Albert YMCA provided us with 2 Hip Hop lessons this term. We learned moves to "Havana" and by the end of the sessions we were experts.

Congratulations to Lila, Byesion and Maia who completed their Reading Logs - 100 nights of reading!

Puriri Team gathered beside the Memorial Garden on 11 November to acknowledge Armistice Day.

Every Wednesday this term we participate in Garden to Table. Trudy gave the gardening group challenges to achieve their wheelbarrow licenses.

Our cultural groups were stunning at the Albert / Eden Schools Cultural Festival this year. It was a pleasure to see many of our class perform at the festival and at Family Fun Night. Well done!!

It's Athletics Time

This year our Athletics Day for Puriri and Kauri is taking place at the Lovelock Track, Sandringham Road. We need at least 4 parents to help us by walking with us to and from the track safely. If you are able to help please tick the box on the permission notice that your child took home last week.

Term 4 Week 1

Welcome back to Term 4!
Congratulations to everyone who read during the holidays and brought back their Reading Logs.

This week we started Garden to Table. If you are available to help out one Wednesday this term, we would greatly appreciate your help.

                                                                     

                                 

                              

Buddy Reading started again this week with our buddy class Room 24.

This week we had our first cricket skills session. We have two more over the next two weeks. 

Duffy Books

Everyone now has their two Duffy books which they chose earlier in the term. Happy reading over the holiday break. Don't forget to bring your holiday reading log to school when you come back next term!
