Week One

Fakalofa lahi atu

This week is Niuean Language Week and we will be learning some Niuean phrases and a little about the culture. Click on the image to find the phrases we will be learning:
Last week Kelly Sports came into school and took the children for games. Sadly it rained on our day but the class were still able to enjoy the indoor activities that Kelly Sports provided. Here is a photo of the class playing silent ball.

Congratulations to everyone who completed your holiday reading logs. Fairy Judy was very impressed!

Congratulations, also, to Xavier and Sophia who were chosen by the class as well deserving recipients of last week's "Caught Being Good" certificates at our Puriri Assembly. We are very proud of these two role models of manaakitanga 😀.

On Wednesday our class has scooter training. Please bring your scooter and helmet to school on that day. All scooters will be locked in the pool area after we have used them.

Please remember to send back all Athletics Day notices before Friday.

Have a great week!!

WELCOME BACK TO TERM 4

Nau mai haere mai tatou! Welcome back everyone!

The class was buzzing with excitement this morning as the children caught up with their classmates. It was wonderful to hear about the different activities they had been doing during the holiday break.

One piece of really exciting news was that Lochie competed in the Ngauruhoe Ski Club Junior Ski Race and won the Under 10 boys division. We are very proud of your achievement Lochie and wish you all the best for your next competition.
