CHOOSE TUESDAY

This term's Choose Tuesday programmes are now finished and today we watched a presentation of all the activities. The choir performed live and it was wonderful to see that we had a class member in the choir. Great singing Poppy!

Everyone has been given their Term 3 Choose Tuesday option sheet to choose their top 5 choices. These are due back to class by Monday at the latest.

Kiwi - A - Thon

Well done to everyone who practised the 20 Kiwi-A-Thon facts this week! On Friday we had some great results from the test ...
... and some interesting spelling 😀

Now it's time to collect in our sponsorship money and watch our class fundraising monitor grow. Can Room 21 reach $200? or higher?

Puriri Crosscountry

Crosscountry
Sweaty, agony,
Competing, pacing,
Painful as an injection,

Everyone was able to finish the course in under 20 minutes! We have some
amazing long distance runners in our class, congratulations to our Year 4 boys Wilbur 2nd, Felix 3rd, Milo 4th, Jarvis 5th and Sakina who came 3rd in the Year 4 girls race.

GREEN WEEK ASSEMBLY

Room 21 and our buddy class, Room 10, hosted the Green Week assembly this term. Our MCs Felix and Kezia did a wonderful job leading the assembly. The classes performed "Planets In Our Solar System" to the whole school. There were a few butterflies in tummies beforehand but what a fantastic job they all did. A very proud moment!

Congratulations to Ollie, who has walked to school over 100 times, and to Ayaan who has been a very responsible paper bin monitor this term. Well done boys!

Bling Those Bins

The focus for this term's Green Week was to bling our classroom recycling bins. The four ideas that our class came up with for our bins were:

  • new labels for the bins
  • lids to stop rubbish from blowing away
  • have a wall between the bins and the Chromebook cabinet
  • posters to remind us what goes in to each bin

What do you think of our Recycling Centre?
