All library books are now due back at school.
There are still 6 children who need to bring their books back.

Our Green Week

Room 21's focus for this term's Green Week was all about how we can save water at school. Ways we save water are:

  • Most of our class have drink bottles that we bring to school every day.
  • Soaping our hands and then turning on the tap to wash the soap off.
  • Checking that the tap is turned off when we have finished using it.
We are also collecting water from the drinking fountains in the playground to water the gardens. When we drink from the fountains there is always a lot of water that goes down the drains. This is the water we are collecting and we are finding there is so much that we may have to use bigger buckets!
Here are our Green Week photos:

On Monday we weeded the gardens outside Rooms 19 - 22.

On Friday we all wore green or blue to celebrate Green Week.

We attached buckets to all the drinking fountains.

We will report back next week to share how we have done.

Road Safety Week

Road Safety Week is about encouraging families to think about how they can help everyone have safe and active journeys to and from school.  Parking away from the school and walking in helps keep the area outside the school safer for students.  Walking, biking and scootering is a great way to add exercise into your week!  Please remember to use the crossings, it may take an extra minute or two but it is another way we can help you to stay safe.
