Last Week of Term

This week is the last week of Term 1 and it is Green Week. We will be focussing on how we can be better kaitiaki at school and at home. If you have any ideas for home please share them with us in the comments below.

Our Green Week Events are:

  • Monday & Tuesday - Book Swap Mornings

  • Wednesday - Make & Take

  • Thursday - Wrapper Free Lunchbox

  • Friday - Green & Blue Day (please dress up) & Walk, bike or scooter to school

Education Outside The Classroom is also happening for Puriri Team this week. On Wednesday and Thursday we will be participating in activities that focus on teamwork, collaboration, taking risks, following instructions, being kind and having fun.

Thank you to the parents who have already offered to help on those two days. If you do have time to come along and help the children with their activities please email me or leave a message with the office.

If it is raining we will adapt the activities but bring a raincoat just in case!

Week 10

This week we were very privileged to have a Duffy role model visit us. His name was Michel Mulipola and he is a cartoon artist and School Journal illustrator. Here are a few of the photos from the assembly. We decorated our box with illustrations of super heroes we created.

Happy reading everyone!
