Nau mai haere mai tatou! Welcome back everyone!
The class was buzzing with excitement this morning as the children caught up with their classmates. It was wonderful to hear about the different activities they had been doing during the holiday break.
One piece of really exciting news was that Lochie competed in the Ngauruhoe Ski Club Junior Ski Race and won the Under 10 boys division. We are very proud of your achievement Lochie and wish you all the best for your next competition.
A few reminders for this term:
Holiday reading logs are due by this Wednesday at the very latest.
Everyone must wear a hat and be sunsmart this term. Remember to name it.
Home learning will continue to focus on Reading. Please remember to record your reading in your reading log. Reading logs are checked on Fridays.
Scooter Training is next Wednesday. Bring your scooter and helmet along.
We have our Athletics Day on Tuesday 3 November.
Cultural Group practises are on Thursdays and Fridays.
Niuean Language Week is next week and Tokelauan Language Week is in Week 3. If you have something you would like to share about either of these cultures please come along and share with us.
