Tuesday Week 5

 Kia ora koutou!

Today we created a tally chart of our favourite toys. It was interesting that most of your faves were stuffed animals.

Your homework task is to create a bar graph like the one we looked at yesterday, to show the data we collected today about our favourite toys.
Here is Finlay's bar graph of our data:

Here is Arnie's graph:

Here is Ryhan's graph:

Here is the link for the "Hit The Button" Website if you missed it on Monday.

21 Day Challenge:
Watch these videos about sedimentation. What do you think we could do to help with this issue?

ARNIE'S RESPONSE:
  1. Make more wet lands and plant trees to stop mud getting into rivers and creeks and into the ocean.

  2. Stop catching mussels because they filter our water.

  3. Put more mussels back in our sea.

HUW'S RESPONSE:
1. Eat less mussels because they filter the water.
2. Don't pollute the water by throwing rubbish in it.

Have you checked out "The Cottage" link yet?

Tomorrow at our meeting we will be talking about sedimentation.
See you then, ka kite apopo!

  1. Interesting that stuffed toys are no. 1 in room 21, not surprised that lego is still very popular. It used to be Star Wars figures when I was your age.

    1. I wonder if the results would still be the same if the whole class was surveyed. May the force be with you Mr P. Maria
