Term 4 Week 6

Learners at School Update

Our first three days were focused on reconnecting and we did a great job at doing just that!

We also hosted our Puriri Whā Talent Show. Congratulations to all our talented classmates!

Room 21 Learners @ Home:
Thank you to everyone who has sent through their passion project to me. I will be posting your learning on the blog on Wednesday.
This week:
  • Maths - Matific (Adventure Island) and e-ako. Spend at least 30 minutes on each.
  • Read Theory - complete at least 3 passages and comprehension
  • Writing - add a new Learning Activity slide to your slideshow in your home learning folder
  • If you have not finished the choice boards from earlier please try to finish them before the end of the year.
  • This week's choice board is a challenge. You get to choose how to build it.

We have Class Meetings on Monday and Friday each week at 10.30 - 11am. Please watch for the link in your email.

  3. Kia ora ruma 21. I like this week's quote. I think a lot of people avoid trying things because they think they are impossible. But like Wayne Gretzky said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." The bridge challenge sounds fun. I remember doing this at school. The teacher thought our bridge was so strong that he could sit on it. Guess what happened? He broke it!
