FINDING YOUR WAY AROUND OUR BLOG - PAGES

Namaste and welcome to another week. Our blog has suddenly become very important to our class communication and learning so I think it would be helpful to show you around.
Have you noticed the tabs/pages at the top of our blog?  Here is a quick explanation of each page.

"Reading Websites" Epic has a wide range of books for the children to choose from. The Oxford Owl books are age leveled.
"Learning at Home Activities Page."

"Maths Websites" Maths Kete and Maths at our house are links to activities you can do as a family.

"Art Work" will be added to when we return to school.

"Work On Writing" stories, reports, poems etc written by the children\. I have already added one during the Lockdown and am looking forward to adding more.

"Class Cookbook" is new. Please send through any recipes that your child has used during the Lockdown. Vibhore's recipe for dumplings is already there and I am waiting for more cake, pizza, sandwich, etc recipes.

"Learning At Home Activities" This page is for those children who want to do a little extra.
  • Handwriting videos - please encourage your child to practise handwriting using the correct starting points, size and shape for each letter.
  • Any writing can be emailed to me and I will add it to our Writers page.
  • Maths problems can be self checked when I post the problem answers on Friday.
  • Exercise and fitness are important for our wellbeing, even if it is 5 minutes every day.
  • Websites of interest eg Young Ocean Explorers and the Museum will be changed each week. If you know any websites please add them to the comments below or email them to me.
I hope this has helped.
Please follow our blog so you won't miss out on our posts during lockdown.
