LEO'S BOOK REVIEW

GEORGE and the GREAT BRAIN SWAPPERY.

The book is by a new zealand author called  Cal Wilson and the illustrations by Sarah Davis.

The book is about this family called the Pepperton’s. The main character is a boy in the pepperton
family called George and his best friend is called muggy sippins who has a habit of eating.

The book is about a brain swapper that their mum invented and there is this boy in the book called
Cane toad and they go to a new zoo and muggy gets to read a poem that hi/ poco ( poco is the
older brother of george but way smaller he was messing around with a shrink ray that his mum made)
so what I mean about that muggy/poco write the poem is that poco was in muggy’s t-shirt telling him
the words.

Then at the zoo George's sister got the brain swapper well had it because she stole it from her mum.
Poco and muggy swapped brain’s so muggy was too scared to read out at the zoo so muggy bib it
( 1 thing you should know about muggy is that one of his ears is bigger than the other one) then cane
toad snathed the brain swapper from george's sister and swapped everyones brains.

Then he went to all of the animal exhibits and swapped human brain’s with animal brain’s but they
got swapped back in the end and when the pepperton kids got home they got grounded for stealing
the  brain swapper. Then they got rid of the swapper. I would give this book 10 out of 10 stars
because it’s so funny and it has good illustrations .

  1. Hi Leo, thanks for your review of this book, I might check it out.
What happened to the brain swapper at the end of the book you said they got rid of it, how?
I have just finished reading 'All of the worlds worst teachers' by David Walliams, its kind of funny but bad that they are are such bad teachers. The teacher I would hate to have the most would be Doctor Dread because he has a chair of 1001 farts! He is half person half monster and disgusting.
Lucy we don't have teachers like that at Owairaka school.
Has anyone else in the class read this book?
